The Sophia Fleming Scholarship Essay Contest is sponsored by the Sophia Fleming Chapter, Daughters of the American Revolution, located in Clay County, Florida. The Sophia Fleming Scholarship was founded by an anonymous donor in 2009 in order to further educational opportunities for high school seniors in Clay County, Florida. The chapter will award one $1000 scholarship.
The Sophia Fleming Scholarship Essay Contest is open to all Clay County, Florida high school seniors who are planning post-graduate study. The post-graduate school of choice may be a university, vocational school, academy, or any other post-high school educational institution. No GPA is required for entry into this scholarship contest.
